Children & Babies

The Derwentwater welcomes children and for babies we make a special effort to lighten your travels by providing a range of equipment including high chair, cots and lullaby lamps. Baby/child listening is available via our telephone system or we will gladly provide your own personal intercom subject to availability.

There are many local children's facilities to help keep your children occupied.

Children may accompany their parents into the Deer's Leap Restaurant and enjoy our main menu with a 50% reduction for children under 11. Thereafter, the full charge will be applicable. We do request that parents with children 5 years and under dine before 7.o0pm each evening.
